This forum is brilliant–everyone has so much information so makes it easier to coordinate a wedding from overseas.
What are your opinions of the Royal Palm vs. Avari vs. Pearl Continental? I’m leaning towards the Royal Palm as of now.
Are any of these places more highly recommended–why?
Royal Palm doesn’t have a hotel with it–what hotel do you recommend that’s nearby for guests?

They all have their plus points. Nowadays, there are event planners in Lahore who can do wonders with decorating your venue. If you have a crowd that's really into food (like most Lahoris), I would go for the Avari because their catering department is outstanding (and better than PC). The food is always spectacular there.

I have worked at PC and Avari both, believe me Avari is waaaaaaaaaay better, PC may look better but their customer service sucks!!!
I am not aware of Royal palm...i guess I've been away from pakistan too long!!! Sorry!!

The only concern is that I looked up the map and it looks like it is probably not the best area of lahore, or maybe it’s so huge u can’t even tell where u are!!! But will definately go check it out. Thanx again!!!

i dont know about lahore, but the PC in karachi was fantastic! i had my engagement there a few years ago and everything was just perfect. Im not sure about the service since i didnt make the arrangements, but i know everything came out great in the end. And the food is reallyy good! a HUGE plus point for me :D
but if you're doing it in lahore, then dont go by with what i said..all hotels, even if they're the same company, range in service/food/etc by location
by the looks of it, the royal palms looks nice..
