Who-me is right. It is Lower Mall. I took this picture. This picture is not about what you guys are thinking it is. It is not about “hard work”. As a matter of fact, the canister are empty and not that heavy.
This picture is about “re-cycling”. The Guy collects empty Ghee Canisters from consumers. Sells them to a Workshop where these canisters will be flattened and made into 8 gauge sheets out of which, Boxes, Cases, and other tin products will be made. Suitcases and "Pay-tees" (Huge Suitcases) made out of ghee-cans are really very nice and durable.
When it comes to recycling household refuse, Pakistan beats all other nation. I wish, our recycling efforts for industrial refuse also match that of non-industrial and commercial refuse.
I love Pakistan.
I am learning to operate the scanner, and I will soon share with you other photos of Lahore, and some other parts of Pakistan.
U R right yaar, I rememebr in our pind, they use to recycle everthing. They would not let any thing go in the garbage. That why we had no garbage in our PIND.
Thanks NYAhmadi for sharing with us. Very nice pic. But I dont find any thing funny in it. It is reflecting the multitudes in Pakistan working extremely hard to survive in averse conditions. These have-nots are the heart of Paksitan not ones who imitate western culture and values.
