I am from Lahore and I find the title of this blog disturbing. I wonder if the writer has ever visited any other city or town in Pakistan.

“One of the best cities”, “A great place to live”, etc. are acceptable and reasonable alternatives.
If you see the comments below the blog, you’ll know why I consider it ‘disturbing’.
I am sick and tired of Karachi v/s Lahore BS. I vote Bahawalpur!!!

Oh, before I go, lahore can never be karachi. It is not cosmopolitan and has no seaport or a coastline.

I don’t see why the title of the blog is disturbing. It’s subjective and not as if the author is claiming that everyone should have the same opinion. One does not always have to walk on egg shells and be political correct. That’s annoying and uptight and it takes away the fun.
As for the comments, the comments would have been the same even if the blog was titled: ‘One of the best cities’ or ‘Why I love Lahore’. Even the most innocent baby videos on youtube have disturbing comments.

Islamabad > Lahore
After spending many days in Multan, Lahore is MUCH significantly better…although having stayed in major metropolitan cities all over the world… Lahore has a long way to go, and Islamabad is superior.
to those that know, no better, please spare yourself the ignorance and don’t comment based off what you’ve seen in a hollywood/bollywood flick.

**Yes Lahore would be considered the Heartland of Pakistan, with great Islamic Tradition of Sufi Scholars like Data Gunj Buxsh; and Allama Iqbal from Sialkot but buried near The Fort and one of the most Beautiful Mosques in the World Badshahi Masjid;
Mughal Emperor Jehangir’s Mukbara & Shalimar Bagh to name a few of the great historical sites that are located in and define the character of Lahore!** and give credence to the country we all call Pakistan!

As somebody said, you lack a seaport. And when you don’t have a seaport you depend on your average Karachite to pass on them goodie good shoes to your ungrateful ace.

Islamabad tops the list , for me .. Can never have enough of that city, dont think Lahore can beat Isloo at its game
