Hi, I’m a tourist spending my last few days in Pakistan in Lahore, and I’d like to find (or commission) a couple of souvenirs.
Firstly, I’d like to find a Karakul hat. Are there specific bazaars or makers specialising in these?
Secondly, and this is rather obscure, I’d like to find a small wall-hanging, approx 40 x 30cm. I’ve seen some depicting Benazir Bhutto, made from weaving various colours of wool. I would like to find one of Malala, if possible. I guess it’s unlikely anyone is producing such an item, but maybe it’s possible for me to find someone who can make one?
