I want to know if you know any of women who can advise me to stop bloat a few week before the wedding day. I don;t want to show my fat tummy. i want flat stomach but often got bloat from water, foods. that is why i am request if you know any of these women you can give me their contact detail to help my tummy tight ready for the wedding day then after that but want to keep it permantely.
it is tricky to keep stomach flat without bloat, i am vegetarian.
Stay away from cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage the week before your wedding day--these can contribute to bloating. Good diuretic vegetables include asparagus, leafy greens, celery, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and onions. Citrus fruits and melons also help eliminate extra fluid.
Definitely stay away from the salt---use herbs and spices only to season your food the week prior to your wedding.
And make sure to drink a lot of water!!! Keep really well hydrated with at least 8 full glasses of water per day--if your body feels it is dehydrated it will stubbornly hang on to the extra bloat!
what about mangoes? in summer we normally eat a lot of mangoes raw, then milk shake. i don;t know how much do the cooker add the salt. i will let mom know about this. what about roti, rices?
i normally drink a lot of water, i don;t drink coke, 7up but a few time only if it happens in someone's home and they don;t have clean water so i have to drink fizzy.
i am not sure if there is any cure to make my tummy flat for temporary during the wedding season?
thanks
Mango is also a good diuretic fruit. Milkshake--do you mean lassi? I would stay away from milkshakes made with milk, but lassi can be very good if you don't overdo it----yogurt helps regulate the digestive system so if you consume yogurt or lassi daily for the few weeks prior to the wedding it can also help make sure you're not bloated.
People usually add salt in cooking. In homecooking, you can just ask your mom to not salt the food, or to add less salt. Stay away from anything canned--canned foods have a lot of salt added as part of the preservation process.
I don't think there's any sure way to temporarily have a flat stomach, but eating right, drinking enough water, and staying away from the salt will all help!!!
i drank lassi mango but dislike them as i am used to milk with mangoes! it is because i drink lassi for first time in restaurant then after that milkshake.
thank for inform me about salt. oh yeah, in mcdonald they add salt in chip! what about samosas i love vegetable samosas in lahore and always eat them aleast 3! in UK samosas are not fresh compare to pakistan. i REALLY hope mom will not buy samosas which i can't refuse becase of delicous smell and taste! any tips how to stop eat foods which i love to eat.
i can try to force drink mangoe lassi for a couple of times in one week before the wedding to stop bloat. or should i drink lassi daily in small glass?
It doesn't have to be mango lassi---it can just be regular sweet lassi.
Or if you don't like plain sweet lassi, just get yogurt in your diet some other way---raita, for example. Either way you will get the benefit of the healthy yogurt cultures in your digestive system...
Whenever I'm trying to resist some of my foods, i just tell myself, "This food will still be here in two months after I get married. But for now, it's worth it to resist so I'll look my best on the big day." Just take it one day at a time and realize that you will be able to enjoy these foods again after your big day!
I put yoghurt on my brown rice. is that the same kind of yoghurt or different type of youghurt? Muller light yoghurt? I live in UK and maybe i can buy the strawberry live bio yoghurt, is that what help my digestion?
I think putting the plain yogurt on your rice is great. I would try to avoid the sweetened yogurts because of the additional sugars, and some of the sweetened varieties don't contain the same amount of beneficial live cultures...
