The well known reporter Rauf Klsra has reported that M.N.A Gul-E-Farkhanda complained to Shaukat Aziz about misbehaviour with her by 3 National Assembly senior staff during foreign trip to France. Amongst other things she said that D. Director Protocol Nasim Khaled instead of doing his official duty remained busy in handling the big quantity of Tiles he had taken as personal baggage with him from Pakistan. She says Nasim has Tiles business in Paris. Tiles are very heavy item. 3 normal tiles weights approximately a kilo. For business purpose naturally it weighted hundreds time than 30 kgs. An economy class passenger is allowed 20 kgs and Business class 30 kgs on the plane. Many airlines during holiday seasons allow children carrying extra as cabin baggage free their school bags full of books. P.I.A snatches these bags when we travel to Pakistan during holidays .
Gul-E-Farkhanda has done a good job by reporting it. She says many other women M.N.As have met similar treatment but for fear of bag prapoganda they did not report. The good M.N.A would do good if she raises a question in the Assembly to know how much the consignment weighted and how much was charged by PIA for these Tiles. She should not rely on Nasim Khalid’s ticket counterfoil but should get a print out from CAA manifest of that flight.
