Lady Cricketers of Pakistan shine in Country Cricket

KARACHI – Ms Kiran Baloch, a member of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, will leave for London today, April 18, to honour her commitments with the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at the Lord’s England, a press release said Wednesday.
This will be her fourth consecutive year as the playing member of a prestigious club in the world. Kiran, a high order batsman and off-spinner, has also been offered to play league cricket for Shepperton this year. She will also captain High Whycombe, Oxford for the season.
Sharmeen Saeed Khan, fast bowler and middle order batsman and vice-captain of the Pakistan women’s cricket team is already in London to represent the MCC. She will also be representing Riverside for league cricket. This will be her third year in running. By playing for this club three years ago, Sharmeen became the first ever overseas player to be signed in the league circuit.
