I was recently at a wedding reception. So the grooms brother was asked to speak and give a few words on his brother getting married.
He is already married. He made a point as to why desi parents, family friends, and relatives so curious to know " ladoo kab khilayn gai"
In which he said, that its asked too often to the point where its annoying. He answers to whom asked either aunties or someone else “aunty jee aap ko pata nai hai , ladoo kha ke diabetes barthi hain” or just give them a big stare so they get the point that they dont want to answer it.
For the married couples- do you often get the question? How do you answer them>?

i've been getting this too, ladoo kab khila rahi ho, khush khabri kab suna rahay ho etc etc...
I always say, Reha as u say INSHALLAH kher se Allah Tallah dein, aur app dua' kerein..
whoa first shaadi kab karni hain, then ladoo kab khalein gain....desi society is marvelous! i've actually never heard of ladoo kab khalein gain because everybody in our family has basically had a baby before their 1st wedding anniversary mashAllah so nobody has given anybody a proper chance to exercise this statement. maybe in the future.
lol. when one of my cousin got married, her aunts (phopos) give her dua that “ALLAH tumhay chaand sa baita day”…for which she loudly says “Ameen, Ameen”.
lol, her aunts then say that…“hai hai…kitni bay-haya larki hai…bachay k leya zoor zoor say Ameen Ameen khe rahi hai :D”
