just tell them u r given time out from Allah miyaN. that shud give them a huge hint. if they still insist, give them gross details of the whole mensturation cycle and what feminine sanitary pads look like when u r mensturating ( the colour n all the gross details) and how u get cramps and mood swings, (like u r getting one right now by telling him all this).
he will never ask u the question again.

Who says or feels it's embarrassing? It is pretty stupid either way. If you continue to dodge people, it won't educate anyone. It is as natural as it gets...nothing to be ashamed of

I go i have a fever.... not feeling well or i threw up twice and my roza broke.....

If its someone that i know pretty well... i go yeah i got pms got a problem with it?

  1. In islam, it is NOT allowed to discuss with non-mahram (i.e U all) about female stuff.
  2. It is not allowed for a woman to fast when on her period, but she has to pay the fitrana & make up for the missed fasts later. anything else?

In Islam it is also NOT allowed that a women talks to a Na-Mahram either…so if some woman has gotten out of her house to work …i guess in these situations this should not become an issue…
some of you… like pcg…i guess has answered very sensibly in this thread…
if some one is asking you this thing as a “chichora”…then u have every reason to be angry…otherwise u can answer/ignore & move on…

Qudrat ke kaam bhi ajeeb hote hain, Aghar larkiyon ke poray rozay hotay to hum to bokhay hi mar jate. khair itna to maloom howa ke pochna koi achi baat nahi,
majbori hay. humara maqsad to sirf itna maloom karna hota hay keh ramzan main kon kab humaray liay lunch ka kar sakti hay. karam hay mollah ka paitt poja ho jati hay. Allah in sub kho darjen bhar bachay naseeb karay. (amin)
