Where would you rather have the oil then, Seniorita?
i really don’t think she was trying to degrade men in anyway or say that they are no better than women or wutever
i think she has a good point, our moms sure do a lot of work and im not saying our dads sit around doing nothing but fungi uncle i think it’s the mom’s appreciation thread so lay off ![]()
anyways yes i totally agree w/ u irem baji, cuz my mum is always tryna clean the house do this do that n on top take care of two lil sharaarti munkies and cook n stuff and she also has a really bad back problem but she doesn’t give up
and im not sayin ma dad doesn’t do nothing he works and cooks also whenever he’s home and tries to make new dishes n all that for us
i really don’t know how the men are in Pakistan therefore i’ll refrain from making n.e. remarks but i think times have changed and so now men also help out in household chores as well as their work outside of house. and i like that, i neva liked the idea of feeding the guy, cleaning up after him and when he’s home he shuld live like a king…no way he shuld attempt to do sumfin n help his lady out
lazy bumz…not all but sum ![]()
My dad has lived as alone as a bachelor and as a married man alone for some time too but as soon as my mom came into the house, she took over everything which really sucks cuz on the very rare occasion that my father cooks, his cooking is amazing but afterward my mom goes on and on about the mess he made blah blah blah instead of being happy that he took some of the bhoj of cooking off of her shoulders.
Women can be so damn dumb, they want men to help out but they want the men to do stuff EXACTLY the way the women do it. So what if the shirt isn’t folded just so and if he forgot a crumb on the floor. big deal.
on the plus side, it’s not just my father who isnt allowed to cook and clean, its me and my sister too
i guess my mom’s a perfectionist
i think it becomes a habit.. with me, ive seen both my parents work and then come home and do extra work (yes my daddy is a cooking/cleaning type man).. hence it comes into the kids as well
i hate messy kitchens, its the one thing i need to have cleaned before i go to sleep
hehe Sarah, that sounds like my mum.. my dad does everything but my mums such a perfectionist that nothing is ever right… ive always told myself im never gonna be that way.. but as soon as mums outta the house and something isnt done right… i hit the roof.. sort of ![]()
Well I am working full time and now managing my home too. ![]()
I, too thought that it would be quite hard, though it was at the beginning, I felt that 24 hours was not enough to finish my housework/ office job - at first my legs would hurt from all the walking and moving around, my feet got swollen - but gradually I learned how to manage my time and do the work properly, I aint no superwoman, I feel exhausted at times, but these times are quite selten now. Things that I used to do before, I am not doing now, like watching TV, movies, there is just not enough time for such extra hobbies, but as there comes responsibilties, so comes sensibility and the guideline how to do it.
Not that I do everything alone, I feel its important for husbands to work at home and help around, of course the main responsibility of household lies within the ladies, but giving suggestions as to what to cook, chop the onions/garlic for the handi, make the salad, set the table, these and many things are a great help to us.
These cranky muchachas need to be slapped and put into their rightful places. Who the hell gave them permission to start a debate on this sh!t anyways ? Shut up and go make me an apple pie you lousy lipstick lusting, mascara addict filthy housewives.
Jeez. The nerve.
