MIAinVA - I am/was a gamer too and a very hardcore one at that. 5 hours would have just been a warm up :)
I had loads of other hobbies as a teenager too. Getting older things were naturally given up anyway. I was always sad to think I might not one day have time for gaming though and yea it'd be great to have more hours in the day. But I'm enjoying whatever else I do too.
I'm lucky in that my husband enjoys the same things I do (even though we didn't know it straight away). We play games together when we have time. I don't think you need to give it up but things like this will take a back seat whether you want them to or not.
Oh.. and reading what snowy said.. we enjoy watching the same stuff - House, Lost, Heroes so we'd always try to watch them together.
