Is anyone watching the comedy series “Ladies Park” on Geo Tv. It’s like a Pakistani version of desperate housewives. Here is the description from their facebook page:
Plot Outline:
A comedy serial revolving around the lives of four couples and their trials and tribulations. When Sonia, Saba, Natasha and Rubina meet in a park everyday, they share each other’s problems as they take their evening walk. Apart from recreation, this is a time when these women bear their souls to each other, console each other and in some cases even try and solve each other’s problems by lending a helping hand; often leading to hilariously catastrophic results!

Initially I didn’t care for the show to much but it really grew on me after a couple of episodes. The story line is light hearted and funny (provided you don’t take it all seriously), some characters are lovable like the “beejee” and the poet’s lunatic wife. It’s a def breath of fresh air amongst the more serious/ dramatic tv shows that air on TV.
