do anyone else gets brownish discharge 2-3 days before periods?i have an ovarian cyst also and i know brown discharge is old blood.

I am not a doctor but I believe that brown discharge is not related to ovarian cyst. yes it's old blood.
when i was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst in left ovary,at that time my periods were normal and was without any brownish discharge.my doctor prescribed birth control pills/harmone pills and i think due to these pills i am having this discharge.

it happens to me almost every cycle, I have a history of ovarian cysts... Its normal, but you can ask your gynecologist if you feel concerned...

Its the pills they really mess with the timing. So does if your married or not and if you have any kids. Some people who have their tubes tied don't have periods and then a couple months sometimes a year later have their cycles restart and then the problem with the discharge.
my cousin seems to be having the same problem( The cyst and discharge). so how do you get rid of the cyst? Surgery pills or wait it out?
through medication.cyst appears and disappears.but i am fine.

If the brown blood is clotting, you might have endometriosis. Its better to get checked up to be on the safe side. Keep an eye out for excess cramps and any constipation.
