Re: Ladies, need your advice on facial hair removal techniques, laser etc.
Jal_Pari - i just saw your post
hmmm.
i’ve had 4 sittings in total. and some parts of my face are responding better than others. like the sideburns area and the area between the two eyebrows - they have responded the best. there’s almost 70% hair reduction there. i see 50% reduction of hair around chin area which is actually the worst on my face. don’t notice much reduction around cheeks area, maybe 20-30%.
there are burn/scar marks right after the treatment, the skin basically gets scalded, but these go away in a week to two weeks. not everyone gets burnt though, but my skin does, and quite badly there’s brown dots all over my face for two whole weeks after the treatment
there are no permanent acne/rashes etc, nope.
basically the response is really different for each individual. it also depends on how much hair u had to begin with. also if u have dark hair and r really fair (pathan/arab complexion) then the skin treatment is even more successful.
the doc told me initially that i’d need around 8 sittings in all. last time she told me i’d need around 10 total.
have any more Qn’s? post here or even better PM me so i know u’ve posted in the thread otherwise i might miss your post. i happenned to see this thread today luckily
Re: Ladies, need your advice on facial hair removal techniques, laser etc.
Girls. Your worries are over.
Sorry I didnt have time to read all the posts as I'm at work but let me tell you what I use.
I have never looked back since I started using the facial hair trimmer. They used to advertise it on TV. I think it's available in Boots and woolworths for £15.
It's a small pen like instrument that has a trimmer on the end of it and you can close shave your hair so it's as smooth as a babys bottom. It doesnt use a blade so theres no irritation whatsoever.
Its the quickest hair removal method I've ever come across-no preparation time no waiting time no after effects- five minutes and its all done. I do it weekly sometimes fortnightly but it's so quick that you can even do it every day though you wont need to.
So there you have it. The best hair removal method i've come across and its so cheap!!
When i see all these threads about advice for waxing and threading and bleaching i feel sorry for people who are still strugglilng to find a suitable hair removal method. I cant tell you how glad I am that I decided to buy it.
