I just recently got married and moved to the U.S , North Virginia to be exact. In Pakistan I used to design shalwar kameez( as a hobby ) for woman and had a small but regular clientele .
I have samples of my work which I would like to sell would really like to start in the U.S but I am not really sure where to begin. In Karachi I had an extremely large social network but in the U.S I don’t really know many people.
I would really appreciate it if you could give me some ideas i.e where do you buy your clothes, would you consider buying them on the internet, and how much would you pay for formal wear,
someone suggested I put them up at a a boutique for sale , but the cut they are asking for is quite large and to be honest since my clothes are expensive to start with my profit margin is low thus I would be selling it at a loss .
