Hey all, i'm new here and love it already on GS! Theres so many great threads and info going around that i'm never bored during work anymore, hahah cuz i just log onto here....
anyways, sorry in advance if my question is not appropriate or what not, but i've seen several other threads which may be less appropriate than mine. besides, mine has mostly to do with the religious aspect of things....
my question is: i've been happily married for the past 3 1/2 years and have NEVER once denied my hubby sex. before i got married i read somewhere (an islamic book) that the woman is never allowed to deny her hubby and that its a huge sin if she does. now, dont take me wrong, i love my hubby,,,but come on, sometimes your just too tired or etc etc..and u just dont feel like it!!! i was wondering if some of u ladies perhaps have more knowledge on this topic than i do. i cant remember the name of the book i read this in..or even if they supplied a specific hadith to support the claim. thats why i'm asking you. is this true??? please, do share your opinions/claims/hadiths, or what not.
p.s. i was going to post this in the religion forum but thought it better suited here in the life forum as this is more of a 50/50 issue between religion and life/relationships.
There is nothing like that in The book of Nikah in Hadith, however there are some restrictions in the Book of Menses which describes that one should not have sexual intercourse with his wife when she is in menses. This is from Sahih Al Bukhari.
