Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
i wouldnt mind the cooking ONLY if i found the kitchen just as spotless as I left it.. i think once in a while is good i wouldn’t want my husband in the kitchen everyday. ![]()

Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
Living away from home, I have been cooking for some time now. Now I have pretty much aced it. Good to know girls like it :) But why would a guy cook after getting married? Isn't that what wives are for?
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
I'm blessed to have men in my life who know how to cook. My dad actually enjoys it! He looks up recipes and even makes things up on his own....and he's great at it! Growing up, my mom was always open about the fact that my dad is a better cook than me.
Same with my fiance....he knows how to cook and actually enjoys it. And yes, he's actually a better cook compared to me.
My fiance hates "prep" work and cleaning(I don't mind these). I hate the actual cooking part(he enjoys it). So it works out pretty well for us. :)
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
Yes women like that as well in addition to men who can cook.
I meant a big plus point that is hot. =\
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
A man that can cook - yummy!
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
It would be a dream come true if my husband can cook ![]()
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
i would love his cooking but i won’t like his “tang araaing” while i cook ![]()
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
I don't know if I would like a guy that can cook!
What if he just corrected everything I did or got in the way?
Or maybe it would be nice to have a day off once in a while.
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
..
Nothing against the dudes who can…but if I want a day off, that means we’re eating out.
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
I would not like a man who can cook, because he will most probably just criticize my cooking and I really don’t know how to cook. My idea of cooking is close to burning the dish; I swear it tastes better. ![]()
However, if the question was ‘Ladies, do we like men who like to cook?’ then my answer would have been yes, because my other half will have no problem with me not cooking. Yaay - no curry smelling clothes for me!! ![]()

Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?

Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
After cooking for a decade , I decided to take some rest ... and give up cooking , which has been my passion for years , so since my move back I have hardly cooked three to four times and on all occasions it was teaching rather then cooking :)
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
another reason why I wouldn’t want a man who can cook, they cook once a year, and will never shut up about how good they are ![]()
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
a big fat yes.. if my husband didnt know how to cook, I wont have tasted so many things in life!! I am a very basic cook and can only cook to save a day but when it comes to fancy cooking, my husband is the ultimate chef!! and I will not have it any other way!!
i can clean all the mess in the kitchen, do dishes, etc but just dont ask me to stir a thing on stove :$
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
For me, besides me thinking it's sexy when he cooks, it's just overall important for him to know how to cook. When both partners are working full-time, there is no reason for the one spouse (98% the time, the wife) to be slaving away in the kitchen while the other relaxes. Because I plan on working full-time, that also means cooking will be divided between both of us.
Re: Ladies, do we like men that can cook?
My cousin who has been happily married for 10 years now has a husband who is a great cook… BUT there is a down side! Whenever we go to their house for dinner, the husband keeps coming in the kitchen every 5 minutes checking up on his wife’s cooking, saying things like ‘garam masala dala hai?’ or ‘aag halki kardo’ and it goes on and on and on! trust me there is NOTHING hot about that!!!![]()
