Ladies, did your MIL learn cooking some dish form you?

…something that you really cook good and your MIL went crazy and asked you to teach her (or at least for a recipe)?

My mom asked for my wife’s shashlik recipe right away when she cooked it first time.

She in fact like it so much (even after 9 years) that whenever they visit us, the last call she makes before boarding the plane has a request to BAHOO to have shashlik on the first menu

YES... my MIL loves nehari I make. But she says she is too old to learn now. LOL.. she is cute. She did ask me for the recipe but I highly doubt she'll be able to make it.

my MIL regularly asks recipes from me whenever my huby tells her that today v had lovely dinner or lunch she at once ask for the recipes............my mil is only impressed by my cooking nothing else...................

nope it's only me who learns things from her. She admired the Chinese food that I made twice but didn't ask for the recipes

Yes my MIL learned how to make chicken tikkas, fried fish, pizza, a whole bunch of sabzis from me.

Fish
Smashed garlic
red chilli powder flakes, coarsely ground coriander seeds, tumeric, lemon juice, coarsely ground zeera, salt, oil, paprika powder for color.

Mix all ingredients and marinate fish for 1/2 hour. Shallow fry for a few mins each side.

we teach each other so many diff things

ive taught her palak paneer, various chingi recipes... various deep fried and baked dishes with chicken, and paye :D

she has taught me biryani ( i like hers better than mine even though we use the same ingrediants!! ), tomato eggs and beans curry, meetay parathay
