i recently got sick of waxing/threading my face, it just caused so many spots which just dont go away! so i thought thats it im not touching my face anymore i dont care…so now i just thread my upper lip and my chin when needs be…my sides well i couldnt let them grow because im very concious about them so i had a session to get them removed through lasercare, im just going to need another two sessions to lighten the hair not completely remove it…
but anyway…im now thinking of bleaching my face…my chin still gets spotty because of threading…my question is which may sound silly but is serious…do you girls who use bleach on your face, use it all over or just the area where the hair is apparent, i know people who bleach their entire faces…even where there is no hair?
also does bleach cause a yellow effect in your skin? im thinking if i just bleach maybe my chin and cheek area they will look a different colour to the rest of my face…im worried my skin will look patchy?
Hi Devoted
I think that bleech not suit your skin or something. Maybe is it better that you do that bleech thing by a beautycian or something. And no, i dont bleech my face coz i dont have that much hair:)
If your skin was too sensitive for waxing and threading then bleaching would not be recommended as it is much harsher on your skin than probably any other hair removal method.
If you're getting spots after waxing and threading then it's probably due to blocked pores, as when you remove hair from the root you leave the pore exposed and it can easily get bacteria build up which causes spots. Make sure you wipe something like aloe vera gel, or any mild toner over your face after waxing/threading and then apply a light moisturiser. It should do the trick.
I thread my upper lip too and bleach the rest of my face once a month. the colour change that sometimes occur is only due to the temperature of water that the face is washed with afterwards. Dont worry, doesnt last long. Only a few minutes! You might need to leave the bleach for about 10 mins but if you feel a tingling feeling, take the cream off immediately!
avoid bleaching your face as much as possible. it accelerates the hair growth. use only if you have no other option and you can use it only on areas where you need it. use the accelerator (the powder material) as little as possible cz that's what is bad for skin.
