I got a lovely surprise baby shower from my family and friends.
Now, I’m wondering what can I do besides giving thank you cards to show my gratitude to the organizers. I’m sending thank you cards to all the attendees who came and gave me gifts.
The organizers were my devrani, nands (who are visitng from Pakistan) and a close friend… what’s the norm for saying thank you in such a situation?
Thank you gifts are a nice gesture and you dont have to break the bank doing so. Why dont you do bath and body works gift sets/perfume gift sets/something else that can be used to pamper the organizers?
you could also treat them to a nice dinner, and give a small gift of appreciation, instead of giving a big gift. Everyone loves to go out to eat. Take them somewhere they wouldnt usually go on their own.
I sent my friend who did my work shower a gift tower from Harry and David. Their pears are divine!
Harry and David sound very gay... so instead, I thoroughly recommend that you present your baby shower organizers with a delightful tray of select cheese and crackers. There's nothing camp about that!
..BTW - Pears go very well with cheese and crackers.
I did thank you cards as well but I personally deilvered to everyone because it was through work.. I had put a small little bow on each one of them so they looked very cute! In your case you could do a little bag or box of cookies and give a thank you card with that. I think that would look super cute!
