who what are folks doing for the long weekend..how many are ISNA bound, how many are chillin at home or taking some weekend trips.
I…am going to have to go attend a family wedding…although all i really want to do is bum around all weekend

I have never understood Labor day. Is it not just another Bank Holiday? Whats with all the hype?

To me it marks end of summer, cleaning up our decks and backyards, last BBQ of the year, (at least in our neighborhood) and a long weekend with a lot of cleaning being done.
How did labor day come about any way? Don't tell me Hallmark started it .

Nope staying within US. I will be back in UK either late nov for a week, or december for a week.

yeah I was all ready to just chill over labour day enjoy the long weekend, but cousin getting married. I mean how can someone meet another person in June, and the marriage is all set for early sept..
there i was thinking, no shaadis, no guests coming over, just my time to kick back and do what I want..and she had to go spoil it and get married that weekend.
why dont you come later?
