We used to sing it at the end of the morning assembly every Monday at school.
Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua Ban Kay Tamana Meri, Zindagi Sham’a Key Surat Ho Khudaya Meri. May longing comes to my lips as supplication of mine O Allah! May like the candle be the life of mine O Allah! Dur Dunya Ka Maray Dam Say Andheera Ho Jaye, Har Jagah Meray Chamaknay Say Ujala Ho Jaye. May the world’s darkness disappear through the life of mine! I thought every school would have it.
We had Sat and wed Saudi National song and Indian National Song aur every Monday lab pe aati hai.
sun aur tuesday no morning assembly.
We had starting with quran…thought of the day…koe chota program (prepared by teh class allotted for tht days assembly) then either tarana or lab pe aati hai depending on the day of the week.
Skipping assembly wo bhi aap…you come across as a shareef khamosh kinda kid…
hamare school ke sath jo Urdu medium school that, wahan pe bache paRhte the. Urdu was not in our syllabus till 6th class
