Laaj Boutique

*Please do not go to Panache. Initially they are friendly until you order outfits from them, pay the deposit and then they are very late on delivery. Why would you want to pay for an outfit when the wedding is over? They have flatly refused to give back my deposit of £140 and shouted at me in front of all their customers. It was my neice's wedding and they made my sister cry in the shop and insulted our whole family. I have reported them to the Trading Standards council as what they are doing is illegal. The owners response was: take me to court...which I will do! *

Re: Laaj Boutique

I totally agree - do not use laaj, khusboo's or evn panache or any shop in birmingham!! the service is awful, they just want your money!
i had a very bad experience too - i ended up going to mongas in southall and again experienced a nightmare - the quality of there fabrics are awfull - so cheap and tacky! stones falling off everywhere!

I ordered my from silkboutiques in hayes (a small but very proffesional boutique with stunning outfits.) ...It arrived on the weekend and was stunning, beautiful and everything i wanted!!! service was first class, delivery was earlier than expected, i was really pleased!

Re: Laaj Boutique

laaj is a big no no they ruin clothes and then they dont give two flying monkeys my friends sister salwaar kaameez got completely ruined panche are alright... theres another shop called dulhans or dulhanz and there is also world of fashion they r really good...

I ordered a lengha from there too and lost my £750 deposit. It turns out that they were getting a shop called Mongas in Southall to make the lenghas. I have been contacted by them direclty and they have got my lengha for collection but I have lost my deposit and will have to pay Mongas as Laaj did not give money to designers. Your lenga might be with them. Have you been contacted by Mongas?

Re: Laaj Boutique

what's wrong with Panache? I've seen a couple of designs which are quite nice... I didnt like the service in Mongas but Traditions were quite good.

hi, i heard laaj has closed down as a friend lost £750 that they'd paid for the outfit, i did some research around and can say......(i think). well your outfit is available from mongas in southall....please give them a ring and they will assist you, dnt ask me how but they will. PLease note mongas are not to blame for the closure of LAAJ, infact they have been kind enough to help the customers affected by the closure. hope this helps regards

Re: Laaj Boutique

i ordered an outfit fro them, everyone i know has been refunded. I expect you will be too.
Hope that helps.

Re: Laaj Boutique

Fayy,

How did you get reinbursed ?
I have been contacted by mongas direct who have told me they have my fiance's lenga but couldnt get my my deposit back so i will be having to pay the full amount again.

Anyone have any ideas on getting my money back.......

KHUSHBOOS BY CHAND LADYPOOL ROAD - AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. LOST MY OUTFIT DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING,
