Saturday : 8:30 PM on Hum TV!
I saw the 1st episode, it was pretty good
Hum TV really makes good dramas, bravo
u forgot to mention writer's name...Umaira Ahmed..this was published first in Khawateen digest in serials...then got published as a novel and now it has been adapted as a tv play!
what do you say about LAHASIL . This name is mystery in itself. Ishq lahasil leads to Deewanagi according to bano qudsiya. Lahasil covers a lot part in our lives.
iv read the book Laahsil. excellently written book abot cultural diversities... we dnt get Hum tv in UK.. i'll definetly b buyin this drama. Umaira ahmed is a phenomenal writer. v.versital
I missed the first episode and honestly 2nd episode was really boring. I just didn't like the direction, stupid background music and the director was dragging simple little things. And plus the story was a bit different in this 2nd episode than novel I wonder why? The novel is just superb and the drama, well, didn't impress me at all! Let's see aage aage kya hota hai.
The worst thing of the drama is the title song sung by Hadiqa Kiyani in her typical style. I just can't stand this woman!!!
She is the actress as well in this drama, playing the lead role that’s why dragging her role anyway. The other one is Nauman Aejaz and I dont know this girl’s name who is playing the role of “maryam”. she worked in “wajood-e-laraib” as well. Wajood-e-laraib was a good novel by umaira and drama was beautifully picturized, better than this one.
Umaira Ahmed is a wonderful writer!! I haven’t read wajood e laraib or Lahasil but read the one by her which was about a Qadiyani girl and a freak-o druggie guy who accepts Islam in the most unusual of circumstances. I’m not going to tell my mother cuz she loves Umaira’s writings and she is going to keep on asking me if they will have this available on dvd or video
I have yet to get a negative review for this channel. Everyone says that it is pretty good. Geo without news I guess. In other words, PERFECTION!!!!!!!
Well I checked the channel’s prog line up and it seemed impressive, though I dunno why they show such fillers as “Unseen Thailand” and some other stuff, which is totally so useless. I mean they could come up with something innovative.
That was peer-e-kamil…it was a good novel as well but rukhsar u should read lahasil its the best novel so far bu umaira.
bolly: I don’t watch TV that much, just saw the advertisement of lahasil in the newspaper, hence watched it 'cuz it’s my favourite novel but drama disappointed me. anyway. I’ve seen advertisements of other dramas as well on HUM TV with good casts and all so I guess it’s better than GEO when it comes to plays. But I don’t know why all these new pakistani channels show indian plays and movies? Normally GEO shows Indian movies on sundays and this hum tv was showing indian drama as well on saturday.
And yeah about the popularity of HUM TV, well in Karachi people are crazy about star plus dramas all these saas bahu u know so well people know pakistani channels but koi dekhta nahi hai, sab star plus hi dekhte hein yahan to. Thanx to god no one is interested in my family in these kinda stupid plays
I once saw a drama on Hum tv and it was very good, the quality of production and storyline was quite distinct After that my cable operator never showed hum tv again
And I am too lazy to ask cable operator to switch on the channel
