Has anyone gotten married here, or known anyone that has gotten married here?
If so how would you rate the Venue, the service, and the wedding itself?
This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! The best Venue i’ve ever seen!
The problem is… I’ve read mixed reviews, however the BBB has given this business an A+ rating.
Here are some CONS below.
1.Their valet parking is unorganized.
I consider Venue having it’s own parking a PRO in itself, as parking is a pain in the butt in NYC, so I really wouldnt consider this a deal breaker.
2.The walls are thin, and the one DJ has to turn up his music to drown out the other parties music, and if your event is located in the ballroom downstairs the chandeliers will shake with the party that is going on upstairs.
Not sure how much this will matter, as we will have our own resams and party going on.
3.The place has a gorgeous front entrance, but I read side entrance is used during an event.
Kind of a turn off, as the front of the Venue is breath taking, but I can ask if the front entrance can be used.
4.I read that brides from other parties saw eachother
This one made no sense to me. Can someone please elaborate? Maybe this is considered unorganized to American brides. I dont think seeing another bride would ruin my wedding day as long as she isn’t entering my Ballroom
5.The servers and management can be rude.
I dont want anyone treating my family or guests poorly, however this is also based on opinion, from what I understand this place is owned by Italians, we spoke to a manager and at first I felt that he was being rude, but it turns out that was his personality and he was VERY helpful!
These things don’t really sound like a major issue to me. As desi parties aren’t as organized as American. We dont use seating charts, we dont serve alcohol, most of us dont hire planners, and usually don’t see a Venue’s management too involved in Desi weddings.
Does anyone have any PROS and CONS? How would you consider the CONS that I have listed? Do you feel that they are deal breakers, or are they no big deal.
I would love some feedback from the women that are already married, as I dont know the importance of some of these points on your wedding day.
