aik to pehlay raat ko main dair say soi, kyon kay mainay lab khatam karni thi, aur us kay liyay i needed the comp. but i couldn’t have it for too long, kyon kay papa nay bhi kuch kaam karna tha.
then i had to wake up earlier than usual, because i wanted to stop by the ticket booth to get my monthly pass for the bus, because the pass is like $155, and no one normal carries that much amount with them. so i have to use my credit card, but the stupid ticket office closed before i could even get there. and i can’t even buy the ticket from uni because the stupid store has stopped taking credit and debit cards. and there is this other booth, but they take cash as well.
ammi say subha kay waqt sahi tarhan baat bhi nahin kar saki, because i was SO damn sleepy…and i still have to finish my lab!
^^ both are true. close to my house (infact 2 branches close to my house), and one IN uni...i didn't pick the bank...my 'rents have accounts in it, so inhereted an account too. just that i never bothered making a debit card...didn't need to. i still don't need to. i just spend loads of rokra when i have to buy 500 lb text books.
Ahhh … it seems you’re still new to university life. Who buys new books these days? You’ve got two other options. Photocopy or order a cheaper edition from Singapore. It’s not like you study them too often.
No need to contact any Singaporeans, just google the name of the book up and you'll see plenty of sites where you can order online.
I hate photocopying. Never do it myself. Just drop it off at the photocopier. They charge 1 cent/page extra if they do it. Costs $3.50 to ring-bind it. All included, you get a book in roughly $20. :)
