What is the most polite way of saying that I really hate them???
The industry I work in I get to encounter them nearly every day. Most of my fellow workers have a pet dog ranging everything from chihuahaz to Labradors. Some of them even bring them to work and expect every one to go ga-ga over them.
While I on the other hand just can’t stand the sight of them. May be it’s because growing up we were always told to abstain from dogs especially don’t let them touch your clothes otherwise you can’t pray in those clothes.
Other then that I personally just don’t like dogs, I don’t like the way they drool, their slimy noses, they way they lick you. I don’t like touching them or being touched by them.
Now when people bring their dogs they just forget about them like desi people forget about their kids in dawats. They’ll be talking to you while their dog would be drooling all over your shoes and rubbing all over. They consider it cute and I guess they are expecting me to pat them in return or kiss them but I just can’t. I despise them coming in close proximity to mine. How can I tell them that I don’t like their precious pet and can they please keep it away from me???
You can tell them you are allergic to dogs and they will stay many feet away from you or keep that dog away from you. And in a sense you are allergic because you cannot stand to see them. That is visual allergy.

i was once bitten by a dog so, naturally, i HATE dogs. i also do NOT like snakes, lizards as pets. i LOVE birds as pets though...i've 4 birds...2 Budgies, 2 cockatiels ... i just gave away a DOVE [all white N way toooo gentle] i MISS him...they all belong to my nephew who is gonna become an avian veterinarian, iA :)

Third option yeh bhi hai ke is zor zor se chekhain maro ke kutta dar ker bhag jaey and I have seen ke yahan kekutty barey aram se hamari chekhon se dar jatyhain. Can I suddenly have an allergy ?? I mean I have been working at this place for an year now and these pets come in nearly daily and I pride my self on not being sick ever (Alhamdulilah). Can an allergy just start happening??

Allergies can strike anytime any day anywhere.
I never had any kind of allergies , but one spring day in Chicago I had fits of sneezing , runny nose , itchy eyes . I developed allergies to pollens and found out that fateful morning.
