I am looking for kurtis in this style, how ever I have heard sketchy things about this particular persons business so I am not to sure about ordering from her. She is selling for 2000PKR range stitched.

Yes these are very common nowadays as I'm in Pakistan and have seen such kurtas. Is she charging 2000 only for kurtas? As far as my opinion I have seen these available on local shops with average material and they do sell it from 800-1200. Any kurta with some better material can be from 1200-1600 as per my market observation. May be she is selling those kurtas n rest obviously her commission.

yes i believe its only one piece, and i was also looking for the printed, not the embroidered anyway. but just wanted to go through someone a little more reliable on here.

these are not kurta these are unstiched shirts available in markets and price is 800pkr to 1000pkr per shrt

Yeah definitely expensive. I bought two of these when they came out 2 months back.. 1200 each.
redberry, where is your MIL located? I could just see one of the shirts but they are really neatly stiched.

Yes these type of shirts are available in market from 800 to 1000 pkr unstitch, my taylor chrages 1000 around for stitching for these shirts (mayb most of you dont believe it but trust me for better stitching you end up paying more :( ] and the kapra provided is only 1.75 (pon-e- do gaz) which is only enough for a staight narrow daman shirts /small sizes, not for large size with full sleeves or longer length so you always have to buy extra fabric, plus extra fabric for finishing like pipn at daman sleeves, neck etc for styling it differently, then don't forget the extra cost for buttons/laces embroidered motifs/embroidery etc also (plus my effort/margin to be added too) so its impossible to make under a range of 2000 or even 2500,
if good ones are available somewhere for 2000 then it's really really a good price, as its very hard for any designer to sell at 2000. bcuz these are being sold with pathans for cheaper price are with very sloppy stitching and designing and the size available are always not correct/ Small. One of my clients requested to buy some for her but I couldn't find a decent one so instead of sending a poor quality stuff, I apologized...
