Please please anyone tell me where do we get Kurta tops which are worn with jeans in Karachi. My mom is in Karachi nowadays and she could not find them anywhere. Anyone knows any specific store?

Tell ur mum 2 try Zenab Market, Gulf market and they hav kurti's in alot of boutiques as well now, where is ur mum stayin??

my mom was there in December and she said the same thing. The kurta tops apparently are either out of style or maybe not available during the winter months ?? She couldn't find many choices either.

yeah i was there in karachi and i cudnt find any kurtis either....my suggestions tell ur mom to check out THREADS its near Porchia at Hydery....i saw some theree :)

I found kurta tops in some of the stores at Tariq Road. Try dupatta gali.
But Zainab market apparently has a better variety.

yeah i believe dupatta gali has some kurtas for pretty cheap price, but they did not have much variety

i got a couple from Bareeze' (the chicken kahayee place).............they were a lil expensive but very nicely tailored n the work was fine too.......she cud try all the deisgner outlets, umm talk to the ppl who give their ads in DAWN, THE NEWS...........i mean the ppl who have exhibitions going on, sometimes they have nice stuff.............to tell u the truth, the only kurtis i got acros were in Lahroe n this was a year back.............i'm guessing tht they shud be more in fashion now.........good luck

the best thing to do is get some magazine photos and get them copied. i haven't been to khi in a while so don't know if the kurtas are still available or not. i know the maria b shop at park towers use to have them.

I got one from the Khadi place at "The Point" last year. But I'm sure there are tons of better places.

Thats what i would say..and thats what i did..just get the pics for the one u like .. n tell ur mom to make like them by ur tailor or designer!
When i was there last summer i saw sum on tariq road..option.cynosure..and sum other boutiques..Tell ur mom to plz check out the clifton area..including Park towers..there is sum good stuff there!

KHAADI do real nice kurtas..............
i bought loads of kurtas in december in Pindi n were only 300 RS
most boutiques do them but'll be double price in there....

umm...........Bareeze's all over the place........theres one in rabi centre (tariq rd.), then another one at dolmen mall, hyderi etc.
i also got my tailor to do a whole bunch of 'em. he did gr8 work. ppl cud never tell tht i got 'em done frm a tailor! it all depends how u design them cuz all the tailor does is sew them..........
