well..im still alive! (that means it wasn’t a failure).
I used shan masala pakora mix in lieu of the besan (aside from making the pakoras). it looked too watery though so I added…bisquick baking mix. 
next time ill follow the recipe and exact quantities..but this wasn’t bad for being in such apinch…
