did anyone of you opt for kundan instead of usual gold jewelery for your main wedding day? I am in love with this bridal jewelery set made of kundan, i heard its gold but only a little less weighing. Now the problem is my mom is hesitant she says it does not look good if you wear kundan instead of pure gold people are gonna say awkward things and blah. please someone suggest whether is it a good idea or bad the set is adorable trust me i wish i had some pictures.

I Personally love kundan .. It's reallly pretty .. and yea i'm sure it would be fine to wear kundan jewelry on your wedding day .. I'v seen a lot of brides wear kundan jewelry on their weddings . Infact my cousin just got married recently and she also wore kundan jewelry cuz she didn't really like the traditional big heavy gold jewelry . and maybe the reason why your mum's a bit hesitant about u wearing this instead of the heavy Gold jewelry is maybe cuz a lot of other ppl say stupid stuff Like " arey dulhan ko to kuch panaya hi nai hai" and what not. and these dayz most brides don't really wear all Gold jewelry. They like it nice and simple and not some heavy jewelry. I think u should just discuss it with your mum .. and i'm sure she'll agree to it. and don't care about what ppl will say ... cuz some old fashion ppl are just plainly stupid ,,, some old aunties just say crap cuz it's their habbit .
