^I knew that - and it wasn't much of a problem for him (it was love at first sight i read somewhere) so i don't think middle class upper class or any class matters then.
Look around my friend...how many successful young men(like Kumble) have you seen marrying divorcees with children. And this was Kumble's first marriage. I don't know about you, but in most Indian communities, it is not an easy thing to do socially....love at first sight or not.
Even in the US.....marrying single moms is generally not the norm for young people (esp if they have no baggage of their own).
