From what I know NS and SS mutually decided that because they have a fear that SS may also get disqualified for some financial/development scandals alongwith the case of model town.

مریم نواز کی شہبازشریف سے ناراضگی آج سے نہیں بلکہ اس کی شادی کے دنوں سے ہے جب شہبازشریف نے نوازشریف کو مریم کی شادی کیپٹن صفدر سے نہ کرنے کا مشورہ دیا تھا جس کی وجہ سے مریم نواز آج تک اپنے چچا کے خلاف اپنے دل سے نفرت ختم نہ کرسکی۔

نوازشریف کیلئے البتہ شہبازشریف کو قابو کرنا اب بہت مشکل ہوچائے گا کیونکہ پنجاب میں شہبازشریف نے اپنے وفاداروں کا ایک مکمل نیٹ ورک تشکیل دے رکھا ہے جو بیوروکریسی میں اہم عہدے سنبھالے ہوئے ہیں۔ ان کی موجودگی میں شہبازشریف کسی بھی وقت اراکین اسمبلی کو اپنے حق میں موڑ سکتا ہے۔
اس کے ساتھ ساتھ شہباز شریف کے پاس ابھی بھی حدیبیہ پیپرز مل کے زریعے وعدہ معاف گواہ بننے کی آپشن برقرار ہے اور جس طرح کی چالاکی اس نے جے آئی ٹی میں کھیلی تھی، نیب کے سامنے بھی وہی گیم کرکے نوازشریف کی لٹیا مکمل ڈبو سکتا ہے۔
اب یہ دو بھائیوں کا ذاتی جھگڑا نہیں بلکہ اقتدار کی روایتی جنگ بنتی جارہی ہے اور جیسا کہ کہا جاتا ہے کہ سیاست کے سینے میں دل نہیں ہوتا، اس لئے اگلے چند دنوں میں آپ دیکھیں گے کہ سیاست کے سینے میں نہ تو دل ہے اور نہ ہی آنکھوں میں مروت۔

Kalsom may win by close to 100K votes. The people saying its Shareef party, yes it is, do you have a problem with it if people VOTE ? The decision is correct as Hanibal indicated above. SS for 8 months doesnt make sense at all. The real PM is Nawaz so having a die hard follower of his in PM chair is better. All decisions are still made by Nawaz. SS will beat the living hell out of Imran in 2018 if it comes to it. We can wait 8 months.

There is nothing to do with trust here rather why SS be on 8 months only ? The issue will be SS will be puppet of NS and new CM of punjab will be puppet of SS. The real PM is and will only be NS and all decisions will be made by NS so having his confidant in Abbassi is OK. As for Family enterprise, this is a bogus claim. You are FREE to NOT vote them and I am FREE to VOTE them, in the end its VOTE that decides and if we are ok with VOTING NS/Kulsoom in than what do you care? Having said that, its moer than that, NS is going to make a statement here. Kulsoom by all mean will win by a heaviest of heavy margins. This will continue his claim of People power and his political muscle on table.
As for Power Intoxicating, a clear sign of it you can see in imran who is now calling voters in Punjab stupid. PMLN is now a grass root party, NS probably will not have any political role even though amendment to constituion will allow him and no one can stop these amendments. He will run party as the chief connecting with people and bringing people power on table and for that Kulsoom Nawaz ticket is important. Finally, once she is in NA, a threat to make her PM is also important to get the Rogue elements of army under control or on table. In the end, country belong to every one and few rogue elements on army cant dictate people.
This is all fine and very good move. SS is fine where he is, his elevation to PM will happen and thanks to Nawaz SS will get a better ruling environment where at least judiciary is no longer army’s prostitute and there is clearn marking of civilians vs. army. Army has issue with NS ruling they will get that guaranttee as well. All these are steeping stones.

Maybe not a problme for PML-N at the moment. But it is not good for development of democracy.. It means no difference b/w PML-N and PPP.
To be the at the top of party is right of the family of king only . Others can only be karkun…
That is the question I asked when bilawal was made PPP chief . Why not Iitzaz or rabbani… At that time Bilawal ( and even now ) I belevie Bilawal knew nothing about the Pakistan , still he is the best choice…
Same goes now , why only a member of sharif family to be top leader . Is there not a single eligible political leader in PML - N. Or they didnt let any real leader to emerge. The reason may be coz in true sense PML-N is not a real political party rather a group of electables who are kept together by Nawaz ( by some means ) .. They are not together due to any ideology … Once the binding force is gone … u will see PML groups from A to Z .

Well this PMLN is now different and its on idelogy fostered by Nawaz. You are mixing things. I agree that yes there should be more people but this is a special case. This is where Nawaz need to make a thumping reply to SC by saying I have people power and look my wife won heavily again and i can make her PM so get your act together. If this is due to say Nawaz got heart attach, I am sure there would be more names but at this time its to teach court a lesson.

Actually its turning out to be a replica of the house of cards. Kulsoom Nawaz wins and is made PM to replace Abbasi. She moves into the PM house, and Nawaz Sharif tags along. Sorry for those who havent watched the show, but I think that is their plan.

Yes it can be a plan as a levarage. Pmln voters are quite pissed and kulsoom may have one of the heaviest victories. It will be to get right deal. I see NS eventually becoming president. Pmln gets senate majority in March and another heavy electoral victory on cards and with political muscle on table, NS has a lot of leverage. 62/63 will be amended out. As of today Pmln can remove it in NA but needs support in senate which after march is easy. So essentially NS will play cards very wisely as game planners have shown all they had.

A convicted criminal cannot become a president…and as a matter of law, may not even be allowed to sit in the PM house, if at all Kulsoom Nawaz is thrust into the PM house.
Not sure why PMLN seems to think that the repeal of 62 and 63 will be implemented retroactively, and somehow Nawaz will benefit from it? In any case, the real cases against against Sharif family are not going to be impacted by any repeal of 62 and 63, since those cases are criminal in nature, involving money laundering and much more. Hudaibiya case, if pursued legitimately, is a time bomb for the entire family, including Shahbaz. The only line of defense Sharifs have is their cronies sitting in NAB and FIA.
