Hey team,

Does anyone know if I can buy kulfi popsicles from a store? Do american grocery stores carry them in the foreign foods section?

I know I can make that, but it takes too long for the pop to freeze and form into a solid.

Why do you wanna go thru all that trouble? Just go to Nirala and get some kulfi and ras malai. ;)

It's expensive there and Nirala is far. I rather go to bloom which is next door and grab some. I need it tonight...

I am gonna make some this weekend.

Kulfi on a stick... like a popsicle. I used to eat them all the time when i was in pakistan. Mirch do you want me to post a pic?

I know Qulfi , and it is always on stick. The one without stick is called qulfa. And it is fatter than qulfi.
Most people do not know the subtle difference.

Qulfi and Qulfa in Urdu are spelled with qeemay wala qaf , not kawway wala kaaf.

If you are in Toronto, I have found Iqbal Foods have the best qulfis I ever had in North America :)
