The absolute best response that anyone outside the Pak military could have given to the taleban (or whoever) attacked the SL team is for those two teams to play this final and Pakistan win.
This is more than a victiry of a cricket match. I hope and pray that the people of Pakistan gain confidence in themselves as a nation that can co-exist with neighboring India and other countries, work out the differences without needing violent jihad to settle differences.

LOL!!! At the moment the Indian subcontinent is not safe for Dhoni and co. because the Indian Public would give them a more painful time. Taleban kills you once, but the angry public will kill them many times a day, specially after Pakistan has won the cup

No one is lost. It is a truth. Dhoni’s honey moon is over, and the Indain Public is very angry at the Indian team. Much more security is required for him and the whole team. It is a serious issue!

The Jealousy could be seen on the Indian Media where they were saying that Pakistan Wins with 8 balls to spare, where in legal terms Pakistan won by 8 Wickets, which is a big victory against a team like Srilanka which have one of the best bowling attack.. but like many said, Indians cannot digest any thing good for Pakistan so they did their level best to marginalize the success of Pakistan in this tournament.

Punjabee - this is something I can attest to as well... for the whole day yesterday even NDTV's headlines read "Pakistan wins with 8 balls to spare" and even Jadeja commented that it should be 8 wickets! not 8 runs.
It's alright though cuz a few hours later it was changed but I too found it odd that they'd not use the technically correct wording in highlighting the win.

Please act on your own advice before you reply. Though expressing your views with many hidden words behind "*" is not a brave + decent way. Indian fellow can congratulate in a simple way. Let me give you an example:
*"Congratulations Pakistan. You really deserved it the way you played." *
BanTaleban should learn from his fellow Indian member here (arleitter) how to congratulate in an uncomplicated manner instead of talking politics.
