^^ In DIN, only the character of Mahmood Aslam (Bindiya's husband) was a memorable one ... not anyone else.... Though there were some fine performances too, like wasim abbas and anique naji, but no... only MA had rights 2 b watched

^ No, DIN had several memorable including Mehmood Aslam. The guy who played his driver, waseem abbaas, bindiya were top notch as well. The only problem with mehmood aslam's character was that it was somewhat similar to chaudhry hashmat of waaris.But performance wise he was just incredile. MA is a very versatile actor. from a feudal lord to a eunuch, he can play all types of characters.

Moin Akhtar as Seth Manzoor Danawala from ‘Such Much’

Moin Akhtar is still at the top of his game, brilliant character actor. On a side note here’s and an excerpt from an interview of his, regarding his performance as ‘Rosie’

Mr Akhtar also narrated a small incident involving an American employee at the US consulate where he had gone to apply for a visa. He said usually the staff there first interviewed the applicants and then asked them to give their fingerprints, if they passed.

“When my number was called out, the lady behind the desk simply asked me to press my fingers for the imprints. When I asked her “no interview?” she said she already knew me from “Rosie.” The lady had apparently been asked to watch the serial when she was trying to learn Urdu at an institute. She said she was thoroughly impressed by my acting and also that my acting was better than Dustin Hoffman’s in “Tootsie,” the Hollywood movie on which “Rosie” was based.

Well it depends on everyone's own point of view, that who played most and who played 2nd most memorable character in a particular play.

In DIN, only MA was #1... others may b categorized at viewer's own thinking or criteria...

exactly... in your viewpoint he might be #1 but , judging on performance alone, there were few others who were at par with him.

characters from half-plate and angan tera. Also, the annoying but hilarious tenant and mamu in Ankhahi.
