Too many bloopers to ignore.
Mikal speaks funny, I means who speaks lik that except some gay hairstylists LoL.
And the effing background music is always too loud and distracts from the dialogues.
A failed attempt....

Not bothered with this drama anymore…WHY cant they show Turkey AS Turkey? Why they must show it as America :rolleyes: chacha jee’s family is acting a bit over the top because I have never seen this sort of behaviour with any freshy rishtedaar… Comeon admit we all have freshy family or friends visiting us all the time in UK/USA etc… Aysha Khan is pretty but she is trying too hard for an American accent which is clearly not working…Only Fawad stood out to me so far and as someone already mentioned the music is HIGHLY irritating…

And freshies are generally not that clueless....
For our relatives who visit us from Pakistan, usually they think we living in the West are becharay because here we have to clean and cook ourselves and don't haves 24/7 maids.

just so so drama so far. sanam looks quite annoying. is she a sikhni? and seriously she didn't look like some manager but cleaning lady to me who was trying to help. also i'm not liking fawad that much. esp the way he is so full of himself n the looks he was giving to his office colleague kiran as if he saw some cockroach. mikaeal is not impressive as a rich, american raised. while farah is trying to adopt american accent he's speaking normal english. he should hav done effort to complement her. aik dhang ka banda uncle taimoor he hai ya wo tricky sikh baba who took $200 for his help. lol
i don't think ppl aboard r this much rude n mean. may be few r but mostly r not.

Could be… or it could be that we put Haissam on a pedestal (or I did) after Dastaan and in both Akbari Asghari and Kuch pyaar his lack of attention to detail is mind boggling!!! it irritates me to no end when directors think their viewers are not smart enough to figure things out.

All these supposedly good directors have jumped on the band wagon of directing multiple plays at once or back to back and have completely lost focus. I think our latest victim might be Sarmad Sultan Khoosat after Haissam.

you do have a point there. I did not think about the fact that SOME of her adapted work is good. I did not watch Vasl after the first few epis because it was another irritating play.
I still remember Meri Jaan with Nadia Jamil and Humayun Saeed. What an atrocious piece of cr@p that was.

Yes thats quite true. Fawad's acting is really funny but the drama itself isn't. And you are right, the music is very annoying!
I'm impressed with Ayesha Khan's accent though, it does sound american in my opinion. Sanam Baloch does not look nice with heavy make up, she looks much better simple like she was in Daam.

I don't know much about Samira the writer, but I'm enjoying Mera Naseeb. ANd Vasl was good in the beginning but then got worse and worse.

BTW I'm impressed with some of you here on GS Showbiz. The writers should come here to read your reviews and improve their work. I have been on other forums, but this seems the most active with brilliant posts!

Today's episode was much better!!
Loved Istanbul in the background as Ayesha Khan stood in front of the Bosphorus River - ah memories of a beautiful city :)

The Tina angle can be cut short. We all know what's going to happen unless Samira has a twist here and Tina actually ends up dumping Shamraiz lol (uff itna mushkil name kyun hai?)

Sanam has failed to impress me in her 2-3 scenes so far. Her dialogue delivery leaves a lot to be desired. It's almost like she's overpowered by Fawad's character. If you are a manager, talk and act like a manager not like an assistant. And I am not sure what's up with the multiple braids. They do not look good on her.

The scenes with the new guy offering a room to Mujtaba were good :-D the dude was quite natural with his "aao yaar chalo mere saath" act

Mujtaba is quite stupid telling uncle taimor those things. funny how they made Mujtaba into Mushtaba( suspicious=suspy). he is mushtaba no doubt. lol

I have yet to watch last week's epi - too many gaalis kind of put me off. I wasn't expecting spewing of that much bad language.

The drama is good but it hasnot created that WOW factor so far.

The biggest mistake i find in the whole drama is aisha's character.....she surely has pulled out the american accent very well...however since she is a known pakistani actress thus the accent isnot going very well.....they should have casted someone new...plus they have shown aisha, meekal and that other girl as american born yet they can speak PERFECT urdu plus they speak urdu with each other...yeah i know kids from uk/usa do speak urdu with their parents (sometimes) but with friends...no.

And ayesha may sound american-born from her accent but meekal...no way.

sanam is acting good but yeh kya us se zaida fawad manager lagta hai.....if she has been a manager for quite a time now then she should show some kind of authority and leadership. lekin sanam ke scenes dekh ke lagta hai jaise fawad uska manager ho ya woh fawad ki co-worker ho.

this weeks epi was a lil better. i loved asher's mom scene on phone n how uncle taimoor n his wife was sitting helpless. but for sure the drama has tons of technical mistakes.

^ I don't think it has started on ARY USA as of yet.

As for last week's episode.. the more I am watching this pointless story, the more annoying its getting. I just can't stand the music they play in the background!!! It is uber annoying, it's almost making it unbearable to watch this drama. I just fast forward through and watch in bits and pieces.

Sanam Baloch definitely does not come across as a manager (like others mentioned). And for some odd reason, I just don't think she's coming across as a good actress either (like her work in Daam and Dastan was great), but here she's just meh. Aisha Khan instead, is doing better (and I am not a fan of her). Fawad is just okay here. I am thinking maybe I should stop watching this one, because I don't want to 'ruin' the image I have of of "Asher" in my mind, at least until Hamsfar is done.

^^ it does look like the drama was created almost half heartedly. And Fawad's English is better than Mikael's and so is his accent lol - so true!

the Promos seemed promising but the real story it seems has yet to start. It's good in bits and pieces and as SweetnSour said I am just watching those bits and pieces.
I am hoping it gets better because the 4 main characters that are created in it of themselves are well etched. I don't know who to blame for the lack of "oomph and wow" factor. Maybe too many people to blame ;-)

Fawad is doing well in his role but yes I do think he has a better role in Humsafar. Sanam just doesn't fit the role at all at least right now.
