This by far was the highlight of my trip to Orlando – if you’re interested in space exploration and/or are an astronomy enthusiast like moi, you gotta gotta go there! With a grand tour of the facilities, you can learn everything from the early space pioneers to the latest missions.
The simulation of a launch mission will give you an appreciation of the meticulous planning that goes into planning a project that has billions of dollars at stake. A look at a mockup space module will leave you in awe of the mechanical precision that’s characteristic of any technology that’s used there. I went “wow!” so many times at so many things… and the 3-D Imax documentary will bring a magnificent close a perfect day out!
