hi can someone please help in this regard…plz tell me whether kryolan tv paint stick is good for pimple prone oily skin? wud it clog the pores or its the good thing for use as a party makeup…

as far as i know, its a very heavy make-up stick and usually used by the pros so that when you're photographed, your makeup comes out looking good.
i dont know if its meant for everyday use- i only had it on for my wedding day.

its not for everyday use...more for party make up and it gives u a flawless "coverage"..in pic....

I agree, it's way too heavy for everyday as it does clog pores and can cause spots/acne if your skin is of the sensitive type... it is best used as theatre make-up as it's very thick/heavy.

I heard all the girls use it on special occasions in Pakistan.
My cousin sent me one too . It's available at Al Fatah, Lahore.
I absolutely hate it though. Or perhaps there is a special technique
to apply it that I am not aware of.

One lady i went to for my wedding makeup trial used it on me and i wasnt impressed with it. It was too heavy and cakey and i didnt loike the colors. I would think it would break you out if you had sensitive skin.

I have quite sensitive skin and I don't break out while using it, though am not sure how it would be for very acne prone skin. Its not for very oily skin. I use it for parties and occasions. Yes, its used on brides too, but the application is different so it looks cakey on them. I got it from Pakistan recently and love the results. I learnt the method from my salon owner sister for teh correct application method for party make up.
How to use; usually if you have a typical Pakistani complexion that is wheatish (not very dark but olive), you shall need number 36 and number 38 and great if you have the one called Oriental too. first on a clean face apply lightly either one of 36 or 38 (just dot and then spead with fingers). Dot the oriental on face where you need coverage like under eye circles, spots on face, sides of nose, right under the lower lip etc Then with a wet costemic sponge mix both sticks and apply on face. Spray water on face with a spray bottle (I use evain water spray) and then wait 5-10 minutes to dry. Use a light powder foundation like MAC or L'oreal air wear if you wish. This will keep your foundation on properly for the entire evening. I really like the results and it was worth the hassle getting it from Pakistan.

Sara, I'm pretty sure you can buy it online in Canada cause I know another girl got it earlier this year.
MeeLee tried using it on me on the wedding day, but I don't know what wacked out colour they were putting on me and it freaked me out so I refused. If you are going to wear it, you have to be careful cause of how thick it is. You have to really blend it well. These workers in the salon were putting it on so fast on the brides which is why they all had the same cakey look.
Daniella's put it on me on the walima, but she used a decent shade and really blended it well, so it looked good.

As far as pimple prone oily skin is concerned, i am a little confused, but as far as as normal and dry skins are concerned this is an excellent product. The application is really very easy and one can use it lightly on a daily basis, but you should have an idea of the application. For daily use, On dry skin apply some moisturizer or a very very thin layer of Ponds cold cream or any other cream that suits your skin, rub the stick on your palm and then on your face evenly as you are applying any lotion or moisturizer. The lil greasy palm will make it easy to apply it on face without any sort of caky look. Choose the shade one tone lighter than your complexion.

it is used in weding or party make up in saloons of pakistan,bt i agreed it causes pimples ,n make ur already pimpled skin worse.

It's extremely thick and seems to be oil based, which means that it will make oily skin oilier. I got my cousin to send me one from Pakistan, and I use it as a concealer. If you have dry to normal skin and you need full coverage, this would be a good product to use.

you need to figure out the best technique to use the sticks, i use them for covering up dark circles n blemishes on my clients, but you have to be careful not to over apply, and buff a whole lot. Also, you could use put a drop of illuminator on the stick, mix into a paste n then apply.
