Only the -LoRd GoD- should be worshipped, idolatory and polytheism of any form or shape is the most evil and disguisting of sins.

There is no deity except GOD.

God is Allah, the God of Islam, Judaism and Christianity ("The Father" in the Trinity).

We don't even know who Krishna is but even worshipping holy and noble people like Muhammed (PBUH), Jesus (PBUH), Mary (PBUH), Saints and Angels is wrong.

If you scroll up and read posts 3, 4, 5, and 9, 13 and 16. You will find how islam and muslim comments were started and I have all the right to defend what I believe in. Bolded numbers were the worst posts in this regard.

Number 6, 11, 12, 14 and 15 were all RESPONSES to earlier posts.

Number 18 could have been another respose to earlier post but I had to remind even the thread starter to stick to the topic!!!

Hope we go back to the track after this respose from me. (number 20!!)

I may not agree with your thought process, though I agree that Islam became discussion point rather than the post. We should remain on the topic..

Islam is a tolerant religion, but a majority of people who call themselves 'muslims' do not practice Islam, and as such are intolerant of ANY thing other their own beliefs:

• The destruction of Buddhas in Afghanistan
• The treatment of Christians in Pakistan
• The treatment of non-muslims in Saudi Arabia
• The killing of Christian missionaries in Afghanistan (is your faith so weak that you think that a handful of missionaries can destroy your religion? Besides, there is no compulsion in religion so if someone wants to go from islam to Christianity, who the hell are we to punish them? )
• The CONSTANT berating of Hindus, Christians, and Jews
• The blind hate for Jews, some 'muslims' have never even met a Jew, but hate them anyway

Lajjo, I don't know how you have the audacity to say that 'muslims' never say anything bad about other religions. If this isn't a case of severe denial, i don't know what is.

yup thts something i've been surprised at many a times myself.

frankly speaking, one solution might solve this entire inter-religious hatred.

BAN all religious leaders and clerics from uttering a single word on other people's religion and rituals and penalise them with instant punishment of some sort if they do. b'coz in all fairness, a religious leader or cleric will NEVER have a clean unbiased view about another religion and its practises(barring a few exceptions here n there)
hence, a blanket ban on such people against speeaking about other religions woulnt be unfair considerin the amount of power their opinion yields on the ignorant masses.
i remember reading a great quote somewhere where it said tht
"man will most unashamedly commit the most heinous and despicable a crime under the garb of protecting his religion than for any other cause"

I think a better wording would be “Islam doesn’t support ridiculing of other religions/beliefs” cuz if you go around in religion forum you’ll find out how our “Muslim” brothers hurl insults at Hindus.

This is good news, this is sign of church getting worried about increasing influence of Krishna mission in Russia..

Really interesting to know that they do “exist”, I was told by all Hindu friends here on Gupshup that Hindus don’t believe in “conversion”, that there are no “missionaries”, that “all paths lead to God” and that “the ones converting others are rare species”.

ISKCON is essentially a benign cult that was founded in the '60’s and is based on devotional hinduism…at least half its followers are white converts.

nevertheless, hindus do not necessarily look down on ISKCON or call them non-hindus…but they are clearly different from mainstream hindus and have their own mandirs, etc.
