If you knew little about trees , Look carefully
5 - 6 are new plants
Only one tree in middle is about two year old so you can count it
Most other in Picture are 4-5 year or more old prior to this tsunami

Actually this way they only planted few hundred trees, rest was by throwing seeds from helicopter…
Chance of that is 3 out of 10…

Atleast appreciate them now for what is done.. u can fire all bombs on them after 3 years if they dont achieve targets…

And after all this, iam still optimistic that maybe after 3 years there is some progress…despite all the short comings in this billion tree tsunami…
How KPK govt have done better job:
Plant trees on thr banks of all rivers and canals, road-sides and railway track…this could have reduced pollution and almost 10 million or more trees could have planted and managed here…
Lots of places in KPK could have turned in Natural Parks, millions of trees could have been planted and managed here as well
Then come natural forests, where they are working now, tge capacity is there but these are least accessiable places, atleast by authority and most favorite by timber-mafia…
I hope what they are doing does pay back…
