I deal with KPMG offices worldwide on an almost daily basis and I can say one thing for them - they are raking it in!!!! Not only are their employees well paid (not surprising considering how much KPMG charge for each individual service - like £175 for filling in a form - £500 for an hours meeting!!!)....but the skills you can pick up and be trained for are amazing.

I will be surprised if half of that money is going to the employee... the company is surely making big bucks ... in this case quits/pounds.

yep, back up until 2002 when i was with andersen, as a manager my billing rate to clients ranged from $275-$350 per hour but sad to say that I only got a fraction of that :(

even when i was at andersen I was in the consulting side and not the accounting side of the house.
