SInce there are so many ethnic albanians in KOSOVO what right do these immigrants have in seperation. If you consider yourself Albanian then go back to ALbania.
No wonder the serbs in Belgrade are up in arms as the news reports have it, they lost THEIR LAND.

The rights that the so many ethnic albanians in Kosovo have is the right to self-determination of nationality. Their families have lived there for longer than Serbia has existed as a country (they moved there when the whole region was just a part of the Ottoman Empire; they are not immigrants to some other country).
Kosovo may have once been Serbian, but since the Serbs surrendered 90% of the place to Albanians it cannot be said to be Serbian any longer, any more than arguing that Spain is rightfully Arab.

Looking at the Wikipedia article on Kosovo’s demographic history:
An 1899 Austrian study found that 47.9% of Kosovars were albanians against just 44.7% being serbian. The majority ethnic group in kosovo over 100 years ago was Albanian.
By 1906 a British survey found that 2/3 of the population was Albanian.
By 1921 the census for Kosovo showed it was 75% Muslim (Albanian & Turk)
By 1931 it was 62.8% Albanian
The incomplete 1939 census registered that 64.4% of the population of Kosovo was not Slavic (ie not Serbian)
By 1948 Kosovo was 68% Albanian

All this shows that Kosovo’s Albanian majority status goes back over 100 years. Well before Tito came to power over half the people in Kosovo were Albanian.

Most have only been there for under 50 years, not 80. But regardless, I don't believe that it is feasible or desirable any more to make the Israelis leave. The best solution for the middle east is to end the Occupation by creating a single unified state where Arabs and Jews live as equals with equal rights in every. End the apartheid.

It would mean the end of Israel as a Jewish country..... but the beginning of Israel as a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, multi-faith country.
Of course, the picture I paint is incredibly rosy and paints over the difficulty of creating a unified state where the rights of all are protected.
