Wait for the market to correct. Remember, you get infinite number of strikes. Wait for that fat pitch down the middle.

I'm contemplating whether to try it or not.. there is alot of hype about it these days
I've tried 2 items from Missha: Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule (this is supposed to be a dupe of Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair) and a lotion in the White Revolution line (I don't see to on their site anymore so I assume it's discontinued). The products were fine but nothing special in my experience.
I also tried the Belif moisture bomb from Sephora and loved it. But again, there are other non-Korean moisturizers that work just as well. I tried a few sheet masks from Ulta but they all broke me out.
I don't think there's anything wrong with trying it (Ulta and Sephora both have various Korean skin care items) but in my opinion, I think a lot of it is hype.
Re: Korean skin care
^^ thanks for the update on your experience
I think that the hype may be for Americans mainly? I read up on it, and Koreans have been doing this for years, it's nothing new for them.. I guess kind of how 'hot oil treatments', aka, slap coconut/amla etc oils on your hair and have amma rub it in like there's no tomorrow, is not new for us desis, but for white people it's such an amazing new thing now...
it could explain why you can (almost) never guess an Asian's age!!!! that's what got me so interested in it .
Re: Korean skin care
I've tried various sheet masks from Tony Moly and a moisturizer from Skin Food. They were okay; nothing phenomenal. I think their diet plays a role as well. Southeast Asians don't cook their food as much, there's little to no usage of dairy products like cheese etc, seafood contains iodine and other essential vitamins and nutrients that are not only good for the skin and hair but also for the whole body. Desi diet is not the healthiest and just the overall western diet as well. The koreans and japanese are said to have an elaborate, multi-step skincare routine, but products only go so far...many factors are at play. Sugar alone is said to increase inflammation in the body and cause aging...so it's gotta be a combination of what you put on you and within you.
