Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

I am a common Pakistani with many questions in my mind and I am sure many other Pakistanis will have those questions as well:

  1. I am absolutely confused about who our real enemy is: US drones or terrorists?

  2. Who is violating the sovereignty of Pakistan? USA drones or all
these Uzbek/Chechen/Afghan terrorists who have Pakistani passports and Pakistani national ID cards and who are living freely in Pakistani cities?

3)Didn’t after Peshawar School attack my beloved army cheif Raheel Shareef promise not to differentiate between bad and good Taliban, and promised to go after every terrorist. But now our beloved army cheif and Minister Ch Nasar have not given us one single answer what the hell was Mullah Mansoor doing in Pakistan using Pakistan passport?

4)and if drone attacks indeed violate our sovereignty then how come our army and govt have never challenged the legality of drone strikes at any appropriate international forums or at an international court? Is our own army playing games with us Pakistanis and internally wants drone attacks?

  1. and why every global terrorist is foiund in Pakistan? Osama bin laden, haqqanis, Mullah Omar, Mullah Mansoor, Sheihk Umar and many many more..why? who is supporting and sheltering them?

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

and more and more questions keep on coming to my mind. Here is one more.

yes, we keep on screaming that how come US drones not target Mullah Fazlullah, the head of the anti-Pakistan TTP who is hiding in Afghanistan . Yes, right question but hey who has killed so many anti-Pakistan TTP leaders by now? drones or Pak army. lets see:

1) who killed Qari Hussain of TTP? Pak Army or a US Drone? the answer is Drone
2) who killed Baitullah Mehsud of TTP? Pak Army or a US drone? Th answer is Drone
3) wHo killed that animal Waliur Rehman of TTP? Pak Army or a Drone? the answer is Drone
4) and who killed Hakeemullah Mehsud of TTP whose death Ch Nisar, Imran Khan and Munawar Hassan were ‘mourning? Pak Army or a drone? the Answer is drone.

but then my active army cheif , sitting interior minister Ch Nisar and prominent opposition leader Imran Khan are telling me that drones are my enemy when drones are killing all those animals that belong to anti-Pakistan TTP?

I am confused like anything..................................and pakistani masses are confused like anything and then we wonder why the hell dont we have consensus against terrorists?

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

I think we, ourselves are our biggest dushman. We undercut others when we see them progressing. We cheat people if we know we won't get caught, and if caught we try to find a connection or loophole to avoid the consequences instead of doing the time for the crime. We elect the same people who time and again have consumed 95% while giving the amplified impression of grand investment with the 5%. We love to nitpick and strip others' personal lives, while being worry-free about our own state of affairs and situations at our own homes, thus making us hypocrites.

Those of us who can't leave the country, are in search of ways to either get rich quick off others who are less clever, and those of us who can leave the country do so and then become concerned non-residing citizens (myself included); although, the truth may be we took the easy way out whether by choice or because of circumstances.

However, within us there are a minority because of whom the country still stands, continues to churn, and remains a fact although everything else about it may seem like fiction poorly constructed and plotted with ill-intent, and it is that minority of hard-working, fellow humanity loving, God fearing, and patriotic Pakistanis that we are able to do all the despicable things. How I wish we could all give up one bad habit, and replace it with one good trait to benefit Pakistan during this holy month of Ramadan and duaa abundantly that Allah free us of our faults and prosper Pakistan through us.

Because if we can fix ourselves, and work to genuinely address the basic problems faced by each other in Pakistan and abroad, then no drone or terrorist will be able to inflict harm, instead we will be in a position where we will have reduced and/or eliminated terrorism and thereby nullified the justification (right or wrong) for violation of sovereignty of Pakistan through drones or other less known means of destruction.

And of course we need to start from ourselves first, and rid ourselves of the filth that we allow our neighbor to infiltrate in our society through their film industry, and we need to work to bring up alternatives which are deep rooted in Pakistani values.

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

*Today's terrorists were yesterday's freedom fighters. Somewhere there's a disconnect there, and it doesn't add up. *

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

Both the drones & terrorists are same quality enemies .
What about those who made one and imported other ?

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

well said and there is a lot of food for thought in this post. Self-introspection has never been our best friend and we like to blame others for our failures and love conspiracy theories.

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

no they are not the same. that is the problem. you want to have your cake and eat it too!

we need to take a stand. if TTP and taliban are our enemies then we shd publicly declare that USA is our ally and on our request is helping us rooting out these terrorists by using drones.

or we should take these drones down and warn usa not to send them anymore as they violate our sovereignty. turkey took russian plane down. right? you need courage.

but we are acting like confused beggars. we want F 16 from the US and that too from USA money but we want them to respect us as well.

We call TTP and afghan taliban terrorists but our army has not killed one single TTP leader in pakistan despite zarba-azab opeartion and all of them were shot down by drones (i gave the list above). and why every god damn terrorist is eventually found on our soil using our passport, our ID cards, our cities, our land, our infrastructure, our air space? and then we want the world to believe us that we are a sovereign nation fighting against terrorism? how so?

you want to have your cake and eat it too..not anymore! Pakistani public is asking questions, from its army, from its political leadership, from its opposition leadership.

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

The very post you complimented blamed others -

"And of course we need to start from ourselves first, and rid ourselves of the filth that we allow our neighbor to infiltrate in our society through their film industry, and we need to work to bring up alternatives which are deep rooted in Pakistani values."

The post also puts God fearing people on a pedestal, and implies Religion and God is the solution.

"ty of hard-working, fellow humanity loving, God fearing, and patriotic Pakistanis that we are able to do all the despicable things. How I wish we could all give up one bad habit, and replace it with one good trait to benefit Pakistan during this holy month of Ramadan and duaa abundantly that Allah free us of our faults and prosper Pakistan through us. "

Regardless of country, to place blame on neighbor for filth and then glorifying religion as a solution to problems doesn't appear to be much of an introsoection.

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

Drones are unofficial in Pakistan and if there is some secret agreement of any traitor with US , That is unconstitutional and amounts to high treason . Drone attacks are attacks on our sovereignty and independence . but
Ik chutki Sandhoor ki qeemat tum kia jano ............

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

Why we asking questions which we know the answers very well. I hope u remember the initial time of drones when each attack was after our ( establishment's ) permission. Later on US discovered that the good taliban some how escape the drone while the bad taliban successfully got targeted. There after they understood the double game being palyed by our establishment . Than they started these attacks with out sharing info with PK. also the demand of DO MORE started that time...

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

Everyone seems to be lost on this issue,

Reason we do not have any longterm doctrine to safe guard our national and regional interest...

In absense of a strategic goal, everyone have its own sets of goal...worst part is, army is more to be blamed in this...specially during Mushy regime who started this double game of drones vs suicide bombers...

Re: Kon hai hamara real dushman? drones or terrorists?

Things are not black and white. We have to live with the consequences of our past decisions (good or bad).

USA is too far away for it to feel any reaction to its drone strikes. If those targeted by drones think that Pakistani government or military is in alliance with USA for these attacks, it is only us who would suffer the consequences of such strikes. This is why Pakistan government feels the need to"condemn" such attacks even if they are carried out with its knowledge and permission.
