Shikastgi meiN mere Dil ka aasra ban kar

Koi to mujhko mile Dard ki dawa bankar

Yeh sochta hooN keh ab kiss pe etebaar karooN

Daboiya mujhko Zamaane ne nakHuda bankar

Wafa ka maiN ne Labaada pehan ke dekh liya

Koi mila na mujhko mera Aaina bankar

Lo Jaal bunene laggi mere Gird khamoshi
Mere Sakoot ko tore koi Sadaa bankar

Dil-o-DimaagH ke jalte huwe Khaiyaam meiN hooN

Haiyaat mujh se mili bhi to Karbala bankar

Wo Rizq ban kar mere Nutq mein utarta hai
Jo meri sochon mein rehta hai Ishtehaa bankar

Utha rahi thi abhi sar mere Charaagh ki Lao
Bujha diya hai usse kissi ne Hawa bankar
