koi mousam ho wasl-o-hijer ka
hum yaad rakhtey hein
teri baato se is dil ko
bahot aabaad rakhtay hein
khabi dil ke saheefay per
tujhay tasveer kertay hein
khabi palkoo ki chhaoon mein
tujhay zanjeer kertay hain
khabi khuwabeeda shaamo mein
khabi barish ki raaton mein
koi mousam ho wasl-o-hijer ka
hum yaad rakhtay hain
teri baatoon se is dil ko
bahot aabaad rakhtay hein

Noshi Gilani is a very good friend of mine. She often recites her latest poetry in small gatherings we arrange. She is a wonderful human being and highly regarded shaira!
