Know Yourself Through Your Writing

Graphology is the analysis of character from a person’s handwriting. The way we shape letters, join them and create space around our writing is our stamp of originality.

This science, studied for centuries is routinely used by psychologists to determine aptitude, motivation and personality traits.Forms of graphology are also employed by police and forensic experts and by business firms as a screening tool.

Graphologists say, a page of writing represents our world and how to fit into it.Do you take up the whole world with your presence, tightly filling the page with your writing? That shows you may forget to allow other people around you.Do you leave huge empty spaces? that indicates a lack of self-esteem.Are you some where in between? Lets see, what characteristics do you see in your handwriting sample.

Words Spaced Far Apart:
That means you need emotional space and alone time.

Words spaced Closely:
You like people around you and enjoy close relationships.

Letter Size:
A large script indicates that you are a bold, expressive extrovert who takes a lot of space and makes a big impression on your world? (Politicians and movie stars generally write big) you also tend to concentrate on the large picture rather than on the details.Tiny penmanship? That means you are probably an introvert, a deep thinker who likes details and compressing ideas into a small space.

Heavy Pressure On a Pen that moves slowly across the page:
This represents a repressed person. You withhold the movement of your writing as you withhold your feelings. Both writing and inner thoughts do not flow easily.

Light Pressure:
This says that you are a tolerant, nurturing, receptive person, though if its too light that could mean, that you are timid, passive or lacking in energy.

A’s, e’s and o’s Full and Round:
You also express your feelings fully!.But if you double around any of these letters, you may have trouble sharing your thoughts.

Slant of Handwriting:
Slant tells how you experience the world. If your writing slants to the right, you lean towards people, value heart over intellect. To the left? You are a loner, disinclined to be particularly friendly.

Letters Relentlessly Connected:
If every single letter is joined to the one before, you are extremely logical. You know you have trouble letting go, and so you try to stay away from emotional connections and dependencies.Give your self some breathing, feeling room. Most people leave breaks in the middle of words, indicating a short pause for breath or gathering thoughts.

Margins:
Are they wide on both sides? You are a careful person who avoids taking risks. No margins? You try to fill the universe with yourself and tend to ignore other people’s privacy needs.

“Good Girl” Hand Writing:
That’s what graphologists call perfect letters, perfectly connected and perfectly spaced. It means you are a perfectionist who wants to fulfill what you think is expected of you as a “Feminine person”, and you fear losing control you may not always develop your self to the fullest or show your real self. You probably have literary ability.

Illegible Handwriting:
If your writing is hard to read , you better work on it before you apply for a job.Graphologists tell employees that an applicant who is not willing to do what it takes to communicate is not a good risk.
