Knorr

How do you pronounce it? It’s kanorr or norrr?

Re: Knorr

NORR i believe :)

Re: Knorr

norr

Re: Knorr

Are you referring to the German company?

Knorr

Norr that’s how we say it too, but people here say knorr :smack:

Re: Knorr

yahan kahaN? Pakistan?

it's a German company? Well I'm talking about that noodles company. And I believe they have other products too.

Yep!

Re: Knorr

The adverts over here say knorr

"Knorrrrrrrrr is ka magic hi aur"

So we pronounce it Knorr too.

Re: Knorr

India Pakistan emn to aur bhii na jaane kia kia kahte haiN...unkaa apnaa alag ek accent hotaa hai aur alfaaz ke kahne ke tareeqe...more Urdunized...they tend to pronounce words according to it's spelling :)

Re: Knorr

Pizza. I used to pronounce it pee-za just like everyone over here. Then my dad told me it's pit-za.
But switching to Norr would just confuse the hell out of anyone I say it to. "Ji do packet Norr ke de den" "Norr, Norr, ye kia hot hay?"

Re: Knorr

The same can be said for the Urdu spoken in NA or Europe. The 2nd gen desis have crazy accents when they speak Urdu, if they ever speak it.

Re: Knorr

It's Knorr

Re: Knorr

Well im not talking about accents here. Accent can be different which is totally understandable. But pronouncing word totally opposite way is just :smack: Ab kitni dafa kisi ko correct kero… but is it just me or someone else too i mean i’m like people why can’t you say it the way its suppose to be. how come everyone say nife and not knife

Re: Knorr

It's Pit-za and thats how we say it too.

Re: Knorr

The reason to open thread is i wanted to know everyones opinion. I sometimes wonder if I say it the wrong way?

Re: Knorr

Lol no, the Germans pronounce the K of Knorr (it's a German company) :D
