Knife

Need a kitchen knife for cutting vegis and meat. And don’t need sharpenning. I like to use small or medium sized. Any recommendations???

Many may make claims, but there is no such thing as knives that won't need sharpening. Here is what I would suggest...

  1. Go to the higher end of your budget when buying good quality knives.
  2. Buy a set, and try to use appropriate knife for the job (like don't use bread knife to cut meat, or paring knife to chop vegetables etc)
  3. Have a wooden cutting board. Never use glass, stone or any hard surface for your cuttings.
  4. Get your knives professionally sharpened once a year.
  5. Store your knives in such a way that they remain away from each other and other metallic objects. Use wooden bocks, or wooden slots for storage. Never throw all the knives in a drawer along with other cutlery.

Re: Knife

Check with your butcher. They should tell you of local places that could sharpen the knives

Paki or american, they both need sharp knives. Check with anyone

Re: Knife

veg and meat knife should be different.

As TLK said, buy a set and if you do not want to buy set, at least buy 1 boning knife and one regular knife
